Fashion Summit Hong Kong 2025 Champions Sustainable Design on Global Stage

‘Illuminate the Art of Sustainable Fashion’ theme guides summit from 12 November to 2 December across Central and West Kowloon
The annual Fashion Summit Hong Kong is back for its 2025 edition under the theme “Illuminate the Art of Sustainable Fashion”, spotlighting the intersection of design, art and eco-conscious practice in the apparel industry.

From 12 November through 2 December, the event will bring together international designers, sustainability experts, academics and industry leaders across an exhibition, conference and runway show.

Hosted by the Clothing Industry Training Authority (CITA) and sponsored by the Cultural and Creative Industries Development Agency (CCIDA), the summit opens with a Fashion Exhibition running from 12–29 November at The Rotunda, Exchange Square, Central.

Eleven designers from Hong Kong, mainland China, the UK, Italy, France and Korea will present fashion art pieces and apparel that explore sustainable materials and cultural craft.

Concurrently, workshops titled “Arts in Fashion” will offer the public hands-on experiences in upcycling, sustainable textiles and creative reuse.

On 1 December, an International Conference at the Hong Kong Palace Museum in West Kowloon will convene global visionaries for in-depth sessions on circular fashion, luxury innovation and textile-tech trends.

The next day, 2 December, an International Fashion Show at the same venue will stage runway presentations of six global and local design houses marrying artistic heritage and sustainability.

A new element this year is the “Hong Kong Art & Fashion Map” – a curated guide to 21 heritage, retail and designer hotspots across Hong Kong that embrace sustainable design, inviting visitors to explore and engage with the city’s creative ecosystem.

The summit aims not only to serve the fashion industry but also to elevate Hong Kong’s role as a responsible creative hub in Asia by linking culture, commerce and eco-innovation.

The summit’s blend of exhibitions, public engagement and industry dialogue reflects a broader push to embed sustainable fashion into tourism and trading platforms.

Hong Kong’s established infrastructure, global connectivity and creative talent base provide fertile ground for sustainable fashion to expand its influence regionally and internationally.

The organisers emphasise that participation is complimentary for many sessions but recommend early registration owing to limited workshop capacity.

As the summit unfolds, Hong Kong anticipates an influx of designers, buyers and sustainability practitioners — reinforcing its ambition to lead the nexus of art-driven and environmentally mindful fashion in Asia.
